Cold Case Investigative Research Institute

Goal: The CCIRI seeks to develop new capabilities and work collaboratively to advance research in Cold Case Methodology.

The CCIRI is open to all students of Bauder College. Join us in investigating unsolved crimes and cold cases. A new case is researched each calendar year starting in January. There are no minimum time or GPA requirements and the club is purely voluntary. You will not be awarded any course credits or work-study hours, but you might help solve a crime!

The Cold Case Investigative Research Institute (CCIRI) Collaboration establishes a partnership between Auburn University Montgomery, Faulkner University, and Bauder College. This collaboration brings together researchers, practitioners, and the criminal justice community to develop new capabilities and work collectively to advance research, training, and techniques in solving cold cases. CCIRI gives students the means, resources, and guidance to determine the solvability of actual unsolved crimes.
