Biography:

Daniel Perez was born in 1963 in Norwalk, California, and founded the "Center for Bigfoot Studies" in 1979, when he also started the popular Bigfoot Times newsletter, which he both edits and publishes. The newsletter is well known among Bigfoot investigators for its hard-hitting and sometimes controversial critiques of even the most prominent Bigfoot researchers and their work. Perez is considered by many to be an authority regarding the circumstances surrounding the 1967 Patterson-Gimlin film. Perez has done field work in Humbolt County, California, the High Uinta Mountains of Utah, and elsewhere in the West in his quest for Bigfoot. (1,2)
