John Andrews, AKA John Andruous or John Andrus, was an farmer-inventor who lived in McKeesport, Pennsylvania for decades, and claimed to have invented a type of synthetic gasoline made from water in combination with an inexpensive green chemical in the form of a pill, green liquid, or green crystals.
