Sounds of Molecules and Atoms

Molecules and atoms are constantly vibrating or oscillating and so cause the air that surrounds the substance to also vibrates at the same freqency, at least right next to the substance. However, the rate of vibration is so high (ultrsonic) and so faint that it cannot be heard by the ear.
