International Association for the Preservation of Spiritualist and Occult Periodicals (IAPSOP) Collection of 1,062 Digitized Journal Titles, and growing

This is a huge collection, currently of 1,062 digitized journal titles that include over 15,000 separate issues all digitized and avaialble as full text. These periodicals were digitized and/or compiled through the enormous efforts of Marc Demarest and his IAPSOP colleagues, Pat Deveney, Jay Kinney, and K. Paul Johnson. This collection includes journals covering the years from the 1840’s through the 1930’s, and includes many rare journals, seen by few people until now. The titles of these 1,062  journals and the 15,000+ issues in this collection are too numerous to include in this small summary, but IAPSOP has made all of these issues freely available to the researchers of the world at: http://www.iapsop.com/archive/index.html , and we owe Marc, Pat, and their colleagues a huge debt of gratitude for doing this.

Please note as you look at the digitized journal titles listed in red color on the website above, that Marc and his colleagues are planning to digitize all of the rest of the periodicals listed in black text, and may already have started some of them. So please contact IAPSOP or the International Coalition of Periodical Digitizing Organizations and Individuals (ICPDOI) (iseresearch51@gmail.com) before you begin to digitize any periodicals on this list in order to avoid wasting your time or money digitizing periodicals that have already been digitized. Better yet, some of the periodicals in black text may have been digitized already, and you could help Marc and IAPSOP a great deal by letting him know the websites you have found with any such periodicals, or by sending Marc the PDFs you have been able to access.

On Target - The Remote Viewing News

On Target : The Remote Viewing News (ISSN: ??) This was a periodical published by the Hawaii Remote Viewers’ Guild in Honolulu, Hawaii, and edited by Dick Allgire. As far as is known, there were only ten total issues ever published. However, the issue numbering system that was used  is somewhat confusing, and has lead some to believe that other issues were published. Vol. 1, No. 1 was published in January, 2001. The second issue, however, was not Vol. 1, No.2, as is usually the case in numbering periodicals. The second issue of this periodical was Vol. 2, No. 2, the third issue, Vol. 3, No. 3, and so on for nine issues. And so there was no Vol. 2, No. 1, nor Volume 3, No. 2, etc. However, with the tenth and final issue, instead of following the pattern they had been using and calling it Vol. 10, No. 10, the editors decided to call the last issue Vol. 9, No. 10. But please be assured there were only a  total of ten issues of this periodical that were ever published. Those ten issues with the volumes, numbers, and publication dates are as follows:  Vol. 1, No. 1 (January,  2001), Vol. 2, No. 2 (Februar,  2001), Vol. 3, No. 3 (March, 2001), Vol. 4, No. 4 (April, 2001), Vol. 5, No. 5 (May, 2001), Vol. 6, No. 6 (June/July, 2001), Vol. 7, No. 7 (Aug/Sep, 2001), Vol. 8, No. 8 (Jan/Feb, 2002), Vol. 9, No. 9 (Jul/Aug, 2002), and the tenth and final issue Vol. 9, No. 10 (Fall/Winter, 2002).

The articles in these issues are all freely available at the following website, with the exception of  Vol. 1, No. 1: http://hrvg.org/article_style1.php?getarticleid=115   However, these are only the articles and not full-text copies of the periodical itself. If anyone has any copies of the actual periodical, please write to us at the following email address: iseresearch51@gmail.com   It would be nice to make the actual full-text of the periodical available to researchers.
